The MQW Series Fluidized Bed Jet Mill uses high-pressure compressed air to accelerate particles into a grinding chamber where they collide at high velocity. The fluidized bed design ensures uniform particle distribution and efficient classification, producing ultra-fine powders with narrow particle size distribution.
Unlike mechanical mills, our jet mill operates at low temperatures — making it perfect for heat-sensitive materials such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and food ingredients. The ceramic or stainless steel lining eliminates metal contamination, meeting the strictest purity standards.
Compressed air is accelerated through specially designed supersonic nozzels into the grinding chamber. Material is fed via a screw feeder into the fluidized bed where particles collide at high speed. The centrifugal force created by the classifier wheel separates fine particles from coarse ones — coarse particles return to the bed for further grinding while qualified fine powder exits through the classifier into the collection system.
