The LD Series Ribbon Mixer uses a double-helical ribbon agitator rotating inside a U-shaped trough. The outer ribbon moves material toward the center while the inner ribbon pushes material outward — creating a continuous convection mixing action. This dual-action design achieves a coefficient of variation (CV) below 5% in 3–10 minutes for most applications.
